That's a huge compliment Lindsay - I feel like I am often the lone soldier when expressing my views!
I really enjoy your blog too - I always get so much out of it as I think you have struck the perfect balance with being able to remain compassionate & pragmatic...something which I think can only come from having experienced what you are talking about (e.g. your community work).
Now if only we could get the powers that be to recognise such good common sense!

Lindsay Mitchell has been researching and commenting on welfare since 2001. Many of her articles have been published in mainstream media and she has appeared on radio,tv and before select committees discussing issues relating to welfare. Lindsay is also an artist who works under commission and exhibits at Wellington, New Zealand, galleries.
