This individual,
...convicted of 31 sex attacks, abduction and burglary charges, involving four female complainants aged between 11 and 69 and sentenced to preventive detention with a minimum non-parole term of 25 years later cut to 20 years...
...is appealing the legality of his DNA sample because of the way it was taken.
He says...
...he was not treated with humanity and with respect for his dignity.

God Almighty! Not many things leave me speechless.....!
The lawyers who put these ideas into their clients heads really need to be held accountable for wasting (probably) taxpayer money like this.
Should have taken the DNA sample with a .45!
"...he was not treated with humanity and with respect for his dignity."
Like I would give a toss after everything he's done.., This guy shouldn't be allowed out again.
well...if the system insists on viewing perpetrators as victims this is just what happens. It is certainly a good idea that the justice system should not stoop to the level of its "clients" - they should be treated with civility and respect. However, like all good ideas, this one can be misused and travestized.
