I'd be interested in any comments on this article by ex Treasury assistant in the Reagan administration, Paul Craig Roberts.
It all sounds vaguely familiar if not on a much grander scale. Huge deficit, shrinking manufacturing, job growth in the services; health, education, social assistance and financial, living on credit, hidden unemployment and so on. It's a bit glum.
