I spent an hour watching this and found it rather compelling.
Two practicing doctors - specializing in immunology and microbiology - who are trying persuade the governor of California to end their lock down. This is the press conference they called on Wednesday last week.

Do you think the extrapolation of current testing results out to population levels is accurate enough? It seems to me to be something we desperately need a much better handle on. I think we must know the community prevalence rather than just incidence.
To answer your first question, No. But it is what they have right now. And it's much more than they had 4 weeks ago. As they say, "The truth is changing every two hours". (Which is far more than our leader is prepared to admit). Based on their current testing they don't believe the response to covid is warranted. The secondary effects of the response are worse and I think their case is compelling.
It seems to me that media are ""picking their experts"" a bit like the NZ Government.
I have to agree with the rational thinking of Thomas Sowell.
