What giving up looks like

A meeting was held in South Auckland last night. The dangers being experienced by dairy and bottle shop owners was the subject addressed by several MPs. However some attendees were unconvinced:

"Nothing is going to happen, they have come here to complete the formalities and wipe our tears," liquor store owner Narinder Singla said.
"I don't have any faith that they'll be doing something."
Last Friday, Mr Singla was left traumatised after two men entered his liquor store wielding screw drivers and stole money, cigarettes and alcohol.

This may be a mere matter of opinion but then again, Mr Singla might have been looking at the latest Public Service targets:

I have a joke for you Lindsay. It's not very funny and would be better in cartoon form(feel free any cartoonists) but here goes....

Who has the more hazardous job. A soldier in Iraq, or a shopkeep in South Auckland???

Lolz

Catchy though the tunes may be,
Watt Earp still says it's long past time to roundup the posse.

Act Party leader David Seymour touted his three-strikes policy and getting rid of tobacco tax.

[Part solution - And what ever happened to a mans house is his castle David???]

The National Party blamed dysfunctional families for the spate of attacks and reminded people of their $500 million pledge, over four years, to add to police numbers.

[Accurate, expensive and ineffective]

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters said he too would increase police numbers.

[Expensive and ineffective]

Poverty was to blame and bridging the gap between the have and the have-nots was critical, Green Party MP Denise Roche said.

[Lolz yeah a hug and a happy meal is gonna fix this]

The Labour Party said there needed to be a community response, while also calling for 1000 more police officers.

[Police are outmanned, outgunned, and outmanoeuvred by all accounts]

Due to the current crime wave, parliament under urgency will grant powers authorising selected police officers to deputize and raise a posse. [This part is critical so the lads can avoid the inevitable charges of committing of war crimes and running illegal death squads.]
Once parliament has done their bit they can stand back and allow the lads to do theirs.

New Zealand could have tens of thousands of currently non-active soldiers on the streets by the end of the week, wouldn't cost government aka the taxpayer nothing. I'll happily pay for my own ammo. There'll be old boyz in the retirement homes rolling out on wheelchairs desperate for a bit of action and one last hurrah.

It'll be like the best deer and duck hunting season ever.
They've all kindly got their colourz on to help with target identification.
We would quickly see who runs these streets.

Now here is something ya'll can understand. ___________________________________________________________________________________

New Zealand has seen the worst of these robberies and they aren't likely to escalate right???

"Aye-o right 'bout now's time to push that weak stuff to the side."

Now this had better get sorted,
Otherwise,
It will get sorted.

I am reading elsewhere that men should be aware than in the case of violent confrontation the response should be fast, very forceful and aggressive.
I concur, and that means weapons of course.
The Police allover the Western world are being trained in social matters.
