Lindsay: What can I say other than I'm very proud of you, proud to call you a friend and wish you the best. You have meet and exceeded my hopes for you.
Lindsay if ACT wants to get it's party vote up it needs more candidates like yourself, Roger Douglas, Rodney etc.
The party vote in Tukituki has people looking for a party other than National to vote for. Labour is history in Hawkes Bay.
For ACT to get a slice of the party vote on offer they need a strong and well known candidate. Not John Ormond who has been put up in the last few elections. John may be a nice guy and an ACT loyalist but he won't inspire people in Tukituki to give ACT their party vote.
Tukituki would have been a great electorate for Sir Roger to front -do you have someone like him you can put up - can you get one more campaign out of Richard Prebble?

What's wrong with John Ormond? I think he's a fine candidate and Act would be lucky to have him. He's a very well known personality in the area.
