I'll be putting my money on this horse, Pop Rock. Anyone else made their mind up yet?

I don't bet. Don't see the point in it - the returns over time are lousy and I'm unwilling to put the time into it to make it anything but a random guess.

Doesn't mean I didn't win the office pool (random assignment of horses) once or twice, but such is the price of fitting in.

I'm backing Mandela - owned by ACT's former Port Waikato candidate David Olsen. Running at 16-to-one according to the TAB this morning, but the other Kiwi hopes seem a little too faint this year...
