I have never been comfortable with the claim that we can tell what a person is thinking by analysing the blood flows to different parts of the brain. All that reveals is different degrees of brain activity, not what the person is thinking. It is the observer of the brain activity who interprets itand that interpretation tends to be subjective.
It is true from what I have read that women judge people differently, in rape cases for e.g. women jurors tend to be harder on the victim than men, which is counter intuitive.
