Protest gathering force

A high achieving sportsman, knighted no less, trumps politicians in his ability to distil and state his position:

In a post made on Facebook, Coutts confirmed his plans to join the occupiers, noting he was not against vaccination – being vaccinated himself - but he was against forcing people to get them.

"I'm heading to Wellington next week to join the protest. It's the first time I've ever felt compelled to join a protest," Coutts wrote.

"I'm not anti-vaccine (I'm vaccinated) but I'm definitely against forced vaccinations.

"I'm also strongly opposed to the ever-increasing erosion of our human rights and the growing limitations on our freedom of choice. I believe in having the freedom to be able to question so-called "expert" opinion.

"I'm against discrimination and the 'them and us' society that is being promoted by our current political leaders. I'm against creating different rights, laws and privileges based on race."

An individual eminently qualified as such to state his worries about the state's trampling of individual rights. You are welcome to carry on with your own protections. Nobody is stopping you. But stop ramming them down everybody else's throats.

Public health measures are inherently collective. They don't work otherwise. You're vaxxed and boosted though right? I ask because your fashy chums are about to find out the cost of freedumb.

I see you are still throwing barbed comments from behind your cowardly veil of anonymity judge., Coutts is standing and being counted. Cant fault a man for that.

Judge Holden

If only the Passports/Mandates were actually based on public health science and not politics.
Wonder why many countries are doing away with the passport idea. Maybe Public health science is being considered finally...

Lindsay, on your various sojourns in and around the combat zone and generally speaking, did you notice if any of the vehicles creating the road blocks were not registered and or warranted?
On benefit day here in no mans land such vehicles are a common site as people creep in from the wilderness to resupply.

I imagine many present at the various protest sites around NZ are on benefits of one sort or another which allows them the financial freedom to dig in for the long haul.

I wonder what would be the implications if the government identified individuals and suspended benefits? Total anarchy probably.

I guess my point is maybe these people are protesting at the taxpayers expense in more ways than one and if other criteria were used, we may not look on the protesters in the same supportive light.

You can when he's joining a law breaking far right mob protesting reasonable public health measures in a pandemic, Marky-mark.

Judge I've been breaking societies rules from my first breath, supporting causes I believe in which others see as lost. I have no intention of stopping at this point of my life because others dont approve. I do not live in fear of what might be.

"I am who I am and say what I think, because those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind."

Enjoy your safe and sterile world of anonymity Judge. I'm sure you and your mirror are great friends.

Yawn. A rebel without a clue. Protest all you want, no one cares. You're vaxxed up though right?

Oh indeed. When "Judge Holden" looks in the mirror he imagines he sees this

He is described as 7 ft 0 in (2.13 m) tall and completely bereft of body hair, including eyebrows and eyelashes. He is massive in frame, enormously strong, an excellent musician and dancer, a fine draftsman, exceptionally articulate and persuasive in several languages, and an unerring marksman. His skin is so pale as to have almost no pigment. This strange appearance, as well as his keen, extremely fast reflexes, strength, agility, apparent immunity to sleep and aging, and multifarious other abilities point to his being something other than a normal human.

He's also really keen on children. Like, really keen.

And while it's a fictional character from Cormac McCarthy's famous book, Blood Meridian, you'll see from the Wiki link that he's based on actual criminal of the Old West.

Makes "Mark Wahlberg" look tame! :)

I like Coutts. Think he would make a reasonable politician. At least he isn't afraid of interaction with people who might disagree with him.
