"...fiscally conservative and socially liberal-libertarian"

A new book by David Boaz published by Cato claims, "...The Libertarian Vote: Swing Voters, Tea Parties, and the Fiscally Conservative, Socially Liberal Center reveals that 10 to 20 percent of Americans are fiscally conservative and socially liberal-libertarian."

It's quite probably matched in this country.  The voting homeless.

That's my problem - no one to vote for who would represent my viewpoint.

Normal people need not apply, which is why Parliament is dominated by freakshow people dealing with freakshow issues

Yes, it's a sad state of affairs when you have to choose between those who think bureaucrats should control everything that happens outside the bedroom and those that think bureaucrats should control everything that happens inside the bedroom.

Kiwiwit wins. Nail on head. I'm still hoping to see a real and viable classical liberal 'coalition' option out of Libz in 2014.
