Wiping away tears

A 16-year-old wiped away tears as he appeared in Christchurch Youth Court today charged with the murder of Abdulrahaman Ikhtiari.

He should be taken to the home of the victim and made to wipe away the tears of his wife and children. Perhaps he might vaguely stumble upon the difference between tears of grief and tears of self-pity.

That newspaper article is sickening. They report on the support those two receive without a comment. If I reported on several people shouting "I love you bro" towards a possible murderer I would at least comment on that atrocity. Like it stands that newspaper article doesn't seem to find any fault with the fact that those potential murderers obviously have a following that doesn't care very much about what they have done. Really makes me want to throw up.
