I thought it was only a matter of time of time before Karl du Fresne, former editor of the The Dominion, responded to the new owners of that august newspaper, who claim that all its former owners and staff were irredeemably racist.
Stuff and its subsidiaries are but a shadow of their forerunners. Any newspaper which announces that the science is settled on the climate matter, for example, when it plainly is not is not entitled to call itself a newspaper. As for apologizing for its earlier writing and this emphasis on Maori matters, it needs to work out where its responsibilities and interests lie. I suspect the current owner may have paid too much. 25 cents would have been a fairer price.

I wonder how many people are, like us, missing that most valuable commodity - news - and instead getting political correctness gone mad.
Well said. I didn't think of that angle. It's an trial, jury, and execution of all who came before.
