There's a lady on her way to the UN world stage. Jacinda told how the world is acclaiming and depending on us to lead climate change.
Judith on the other hand has NZ's interests first, especially farmers and small business owners.
The commentators following are quite critical of Jacinda seeming passionless. Not living up to her 'great communicator' reputation.
Ardern is simply not up to criticism and quick riposte. She kept looking to her right after questions. I don't know if those posing the questions were on set or on screen. But she needs physical affirmation.
She's spent too much time amongst accolytes.
Judith hasn't.

I groaned when climate change came up - sooo yesterday. I wonder if the term is losing it's appeal more mainstream in NZ. Maybe it still resonates? The question about what our country looks like for our grandkids should have been inspiring - lackluster from both I thought.
If pulling faces, huffing and puffing at Jacinda comments, eye rolling, not knowing a basic fact like the minimum wage level, interrupting, talking over makes you 'win' a debate then god help us all.
I think Jacinda was looking around for Mallard to intervene for her protection.
After all she is no intellectual giant.
Did anybody notice how Ardern prefaced every answer with the exact same phrase?
Bloody irritating.
It was a debate between two humans, that's what people do and Jacinda displayed a lot of facial expressions and that's ok. What did you expect, two robots?
