John Boscawen is the best person I can think of to go head to head with Sue Bradford over
amendment of the anti-smacking law. I spent a few hours with John outside a Labour conference last year protesting against the EFA. The way he engaged with Labour MPs and the public, with unfailing politeness and sincerity and passion was impressive. Let's hope his bill is pulled out of the ballot at soonest opportunity.

Let's hope the government adopts it and drives it through under urgency!

and far, far more than any of them ever deserve.
Let's hope that reasoned debate triumphs over loudmouthed politicking. It certainly didn't when they had that poor guy from the US trying to debate Cindy Kiro on TV.
Robert Larzelere. Yes. And the commissioner has the temerity to talk about putting an end to bullying. She can bully with the best of them.
ACT, and NZ, is well served with John Boscawen in parliament. He is working hard on the bill and has a number of other great ideas, for eg see http://www.nzherald.co.nz/politics/news/article.cfm?c_id=280&objectid=10562751
The sinister Labour-Green coalition and the dreadful legislation they created must be fought in all fronts.
