This is a stomach-turning story but the circumstances in which the alleged abuse took place aren't uncommon. What caught my attention was the headline, "Mother's lover denies abuse".
I am looking forward to the day when I read, "Mother's love denies abuse."

yet again I am left absolutely speechless after reading this. it defies belief. well my belief anyway. it astounds me that people, no lets rephrase that a little, human faeces can be so cowardly and inflict so much pain on an innocent 3 year old child. Good god!!
It does make you wonder how much is enough before you have to do something about it.
The man is a pig and deserves to be put away for his behaviour however the mother did not actually protect her child in this instance in a timely manner.
The man cannot explain his actions to the court as they are disgusting. The woman however needs to be put on the stand and asked why not more sooner...
