I have no ideas.
I don't think anyone could honestly say they could see covid coming so it can't be that.
The total numbers are interesting and not something that I expect I would have been able to guestimate with any accuracy.
16 to 20k marriages a year.
Divide that by 52 and it could mean 300 odd wedding events per weekend. (Probably a stretch, maybe half that would be closer to reality)
So, a lot of events currently being buggered up by the government’s current reaction.
Must be very stressful for all involved.
