Asset Sale poll
All I hear from commentators, politicians, the media etc is the majority of New Zealanders are against the asset sales. How do they know? This NewstalkZB poll doesn't bear out the claim.
Do you support the Government's asset sales legislation?
Yes50 %

Perhaps the best blog on asset sales comes from Liberty Scott, March 8 http://libertyscott.blogspot.co.nz/2012/03/new-zealanders-already-own-them.html points out the errors in the myth of public ownership Peter
Excerpt; "So no kiwis, you don't own SOEs - a collective of politicians exercise ownership rights over them, spend the profits arising from them, and collect from you when things are going bad for them."
What the public think at this stage should not be relevant. The election was fought on this issue. the government has a clear mandate.
Homosexual marriage and euthanasia were not in any party's manifesto. Parliament does not have a mandate. These bill should go to a binding referendum if they pass a third reading.

Lindsay Mitchell has been researching and commenting on welfare since 2001. Many of her articles have been published in mainstream media and she has appeared on radio,tv and before select committees discussing issues relating to welfare. Lindsay is also an artist who works under commission and exhibits at Wellington, New Zealand, galleries.

To be fair, the drongos who repeat the mantra of the left probably do not listen to Newstalk ZB.
David
That would be a rogue poll Lindsay, definitely.
The poor people who cant afford to buy shares wont be able to afford a radio either
Peter, Thanks, That was a good read.

Homosexual marriage and euthanasia are not matters to be decided by any vote Chuck...they are matters of individual rights which stand above any vote.
