US research shows that conservatives are more generous than liberals. Perhaps you might think that is because they have more income to be generous with. Well no. Have a look.
People who reject the idea that "government has a responsibility to reduce income inequality" give an average of four times more than people who accept that proposition.
I wouldn't be surprised to find they give more of their time to charitable efforts as well.

Of course they donate blood. Look how generously the donate the blood of others to war in Iraq!
My question is how constitutes a charity? Does giving to a church count? Could this mean that conservatives give a lot of money to churches -- some of which are far from charitable?
Anon - you mean like Obama giving most of his charity donations to his church which just built his ex-Pastor a 10,000, 3 car garage house?
A study last year also showed that conservatives were more generous than liberals in giving to Hurricane Katrina relief funds.
