Let's talk about trust

Clark says this election is about 'trust'.

What about trusting the people?

Never before has a government demonstrated less trust in people to run their own affairs.

If it's about trust, Labour must be the last choice.

Can I share a little wisdom?

Please?

There is no Trust without Respect, and Freedom.
There is no Respect without Freedom, and Trust.
There is no Freedom without Trust, and Respect.

I have yet to find a politician who acts like this, or even understands it. But, let's see how long it takes for a politician to use these words, suggesting to make a society based on these combined values.

To me, politics is just a profession. I think "trust" for them (that sounds distant...) is just one of the prefered psychological tools of inversion. Especially when it's election time of course.

Trust me.
