Terrible headline from TV3

A boy who accidentally strangled himself after jumping from a toilet window at school has suffered significant brain damage, his father says.

    I made two assumptions when I read that headline.

    1) NZ is a very safe place and school especially so.
    2) our news media quality is awful.

    So all up I thought it would be a case of accidental strangling.
