Censorship requires the use of force to prevent others from having their say, etc., with their own resources, or with resources that others make voluntarily available to them. This blog is your resource and you may make it available to others on whatever terms you deem proper.

Just as you can prevent someone from preaching in your living room you can prevent them from being vicious on your blog. Now, if you prevented them from having their say on their blog, that would be censorship.

Censorship is fundamentally an issue of property rights. So what you did is not censorship.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19962237.post-82283614841100669002010-03-20T17:40:01.387+13:002010-03-20T17:40:01.387+13:00Lindsay, this platform is yours. Such people are confused.

Worst of all though are the people that are deliberately rude to the host and don't realise that with freedom comes responsibility, and if they can't exercise it responsibly, they leave themselves open to consequences.ZenTigerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07888629207437612884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19962237.post-54841513099267995662010-03-20T13:19:19.739+13:002010-03-20T13:19:19.739+13:00Just think of as the grease trap in your kitchen d...Just think of as the grease trap in your kitchen drain, Lindsay--inconvenient but necessary in order to keep the system clean. ;)KGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01940428991630766942noreply@blogger.com
