Fifty percent of F... all

I blogged about Labour's daft quota plans when they were first mooted. (A radio news clip featuring a male conference attendee mildly questioning the merits of electoral quotas being jeered by others in the crowd has fixed itself in my memory. Labour women aren't victims, they are bullies.)

From the NZ Herald:

It is part of a bid to lift the proportion of women in caucus to 45 per cent by next year and 50 per cent by 2017.

50 percent of f... all is what they'll end up with if they keep going down this track.

Just another cause for internal conflict, and another reason for non-PC voters to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, one of the main benefactors will be Winston Peters.

I think we can safely assume that this is yet another example of Labour being completed disconnected with the NZ voter!

I doubt that they have even have any non PC voters left as wanting to increase the entitlement mentality tends to turn such people off.

In terms of this proposal - ludicrous. There are more adult women than there are adult men in NZ so chances are there are more female voters. Which means I think that if people wanted a female MP in their electorate they would have one. It isnt about gender, it is about getting the right person with the right values & right skill set into the candidacy.

Most women do not want to even discuss politics let alone enter it. Further, while there are few women who would make good MPs (I'd say there is about 2 currently), the real problem for Labour is that they seem to have no one with the right values & right skill set.

But who cares right - do we want them to succeed? No of course not. And silly stunts like this secure even more votes for National

There's no place for a party like Labour in a supposedly free society.

The party needs to be banned, and all ex-members and ex-voters prevented from taking further part in NZ Politics.

Well that escalated quickly...

If only. As it is Labour is still legal,

and the incumbent government is still following all Labour policies.

such madness. Is Labour for real? I can't believe it.
The militant females in the party are downright unpleasant, no wonder its known as the Nasty party.

Three more years away from the power levers, and yes, socialist National and Winston Peters will be the winners.
