Appalling performance

Cindy Kiro's performance on John Campbell's show was appalling. To use a hackneyed but useful expression, she played the man instead of the ball. After opening remarks by Dr Robert Larzelere, Kiro launched into an attack on his credentials and his christian beliefs, holding up a periodical in which one of his paper's had been published. She was thuggish and overbearing. If Sue Bradford was watching I don't think she would have been best pleased. Sue has better manners and sense of fairplay. And she has tried hard to persuade people to her viewpoint. If Sue took two steps forward Kiro took three steps back.

Glad you said it, i was appalled. and the old guy looked flabbergasted that some career civil servants only counter was that hes christian, so therefore he is wrong.

i also found it beyond beleife when she was called out by JC about how if this is a christian stich up, why the general populace was still against the bill. her response, well its taken 10 yrs for plunket to understand because its so complex, read, its too difficult for most people to understand, you have to just believe us.

What a thuggish bully, and this is supposedly the person responsible for thinking about the children!

i'll admit i yelled at the tv while watching her, a pity JC did not rip into her as much as she ripped into the professor.

Haha, Kiro got a hard time of it - she just didn't know what to say.

She did say that light smacking was ok - if you understood how it should be done, so I was surprised to hear that.

here's what I wrote about it
