Maori "Warrior" gene now "Moa" gene?

Confused? This report is calling the warrior gene the MOA gene. The correct abbreviation for monoamine oxidase is MAO.

The article claiming that violent behavior can be explained among the Maori as the result of one gene is biodeterminism at its worst and serves mostly to discriminate against the Maori. There are probably THOUSANDS of genes that are in some way linked to aggressive behavior. What are the researchers standing on in New Zealand?-- One tiny gene with the mighty name of "warrior."
