Mr Whiskers

Spotted at Spare Room. A new name for Deborah Coddington's book?

Not quite. But very effective advertising .....except....I do wonder.....given the way some people read blog entries and completely miss the sense or point, you'd have to worry about the safety of some old local joker who fits this description.

I think this crosses a line. For me, anyway. I am not comfortable with it.

I think it's quite funny, especially given the nature of our supposedly neutered tom "MouseCateer".

However it seems not everyone agrees

We all know what Mr Whiskers needs!

I'm of the opinion that anyone on their third prison term needs tha same...

Agreed Lindsay, I think this will probably be seen as trivalising genuine sexual offending.

Lighten up peaople.

You are taking life far too seriously...

I have to agree with Oswald on this one - especially when you consider the amount of money involved and legislation recently involving dog attacks etc which are actually more to do with the neutering/spaying issue than anything else.

They should microchip cats. That would stop it!

Oswald, those who know me know I make fun of anything at all except rape and child molesting. Neither of those topics hold ANY humour for me under any circumstances. I don't know why this is so, logically, murder and torture should be equally distasteful to me. I don't think it's a matter of having to lighten up but more one of where one has drawn their own humour boundaries. I just recently read a post from someone who was a life-long Billy Connelly fan who was put off the (occasionally offensive) fellow because he made fun of Nick Berg (think Islamic extremist UK beheading guy). That struck me as odd at the time, but I guess some of us have humourless zones like that that are not necessarily an indication of being a humourless person.
